Rev. Archie C. Cooper

In the year of our Lord 1987, the Mt. Pilgrim Missionary

Baptist Church found herself without a shepherd.

In the fall of the same year, the Lord sent, and

Mt. Pilgrim called, Archie C. Cooper as Pastor.  Pastor

Cooper accepted the call and he brought to the church a

sense of urgency for evangelism and discipleship.  The

church has since adopted a motto:  “SOULS ARE OUR

GOAL”.

In a time of much doctrinal division, false

teaching, and on-going heresies, Pastor Cooper remains

adamant and insistent about sound doctrine.

To God be the glory for the things He has done!
